Say Boo Awards!

The picture and message below is the message I received from the JDRF Austin Chapter! Now that the Boo Walk is complete....we have the Boo Awards to look forward to! I can't wait. It is really lots of fun to see Kaci recognized for all of her efforts!

"Congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Walk to Cure Diabetes. Because of your hard work and dedication, we've already raised an impressive $553,000 with donations still coming in. Remember that we are still collecting contributions, so there is time to collect outstanding pledges, as well as, implement one last push for more support of research.

I want to extend special thanks to all our amazing Sponsors, Team Captains and Walk day volunteers. Thank you Corporate Teams for your hard work and energetic persistence bringing many new walkers into the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Family. And bravo Family Teams, whose passion for finding better treatments and a cure for diabetes brings in windfall gains for research year after year.

Thanks and congratulations are due to our Walk Chairs Julie, Paul and Katelyn Stevenson and Committee for their support and drive.
