A few weeks ago, the LadyBird Service Unit sent out an email to all of the Girl Scout troops in our Unit asking if anyone would be interested in making meals and taking them out to the fire stations for all of the hardworking firemen. I couldn't wait to sign our troop up! 3 out of the 4 girls in our tiny little troop could not wait to participate either. We choose to make them a Mexican food themed dinner with enchiladas, beans, rice and cookies!

These firemen were so cool- they even took the kids two at time for a spin in the firetruck around the building~
It feels good to give back to others - when they work so hard for our community everyday
