I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be!

My sweet baby Kaci is 13 today!
I am not sure how this happened, but it has.
WOW !
I remember each one of these pictures like it was yesterday!

These first 2 are 2 of my favorite studio pictures I have of Kaci. She sure hated having her picture taken at the studio.

We could only get a few shots in before the tears started to flow.

Love her in her "Future Cheerleader" dress.

Here is a pretty smile with Grandma Dee!

It's Me and my Mini Me!

This was Kaci in her Easter dress when she was 4.

This was Kaci having too much fun at her 5th birthday party at Raddi Jazz!

Here is my big girl on her first day of Kindergarten with PaPa!

....and one of my favorite pictures of Clint and Kaci with their chocolate cake. The older she gets- the more she looks like me. - but she definitely  has her Daddy's sweet tooth! Chocolate BEWARE!

I am so proud of the young lady that you are growing up to be! You are beautiful, smart and kind. I love you with all of my heart. Happy 13th Birthday, Kaci!

Join the Race to Cure!

So excited to get this from the FedEx man this morning!
What a great surprise! Ford Motor Company framed Kaci's race car design entry and it was signed by Edsel... B Ford, a Ford Motor Company Board Member (great-grandson of Henry Ford) and Bob Tasca III, the driver of the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Mustang Funny Car.

I can't wait for Kaci to get home from school so she can see it!

Her car raised $2, 301 to help find a cure for Diabetes! Ford has donated over 45 million!

We will never lose hope that a cure will be found!

World Diabetes Postcard Exchange 2014

The kids and I worked hard tonight on getting some of our postcards ready for the
"World Diabetes Postcard Exchange"  this year.

November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. World Diabetes Day is celebrated on November 14th. This day is also the birthday of Frederick Banting (who along with Charles Best) first conceived the idea that led to the discovery of
insulin in 1922.

I am happy to share my birthday (also November 14th) with this AMAZING man! Thank you, Lee Ann Thill (Creator of the World Diabetes Postcard Exchange) for all of the hard work, time and effort you put into making this event such a HUGE success.

It is such an awesome way to unite people across the world to let them know they are not alone, but one of many.

What type are you? Type 1? Type 2?
Type Mom? Type Dad?
Type Brother/Sister?
Type Friend?
It doesn't matter....we all feel it!

Please click on the link below if you would like to participate in this year's World Diabetes Day Postcard Exchange.
 It is not too late!

The blue circle that you see on each of these postcards is the National Symbol for World Diabetes Day!

Here is the description you will find on the International Diabetes Federation website:

"The significance of the blue circle symbol is overwhelmingly positive. Across cultures the circle symbolizes life and health. The color blue reflects the sky that unites all nations and is the color of the United Nations flag. The blue circle signifies the unity of the global diabetes community in response to the diabetic pandemic."

Please join us in lighting your front porch
BLUE on
November 14th.

We continue to HOPE!

Somebody is growing UP!

Today is Miss Mae's 7 month birthday! We love her to pieces....
Even though she has dug our yard to pieces.
Sweet, Sweet Girl!
