Bailey is trying his baseball skills out on his new T-Ball Team, The Sidewinders! They have practice every Wednesday night from 6:30- 7:30 with Coach Flores and Assistant Coach Daddy Borchgardt~ That's right....Clint is the Assistant Coach..how cool is that?

Unfortunately, their second practice was cancelled due to rain and then their first game was cancelled due to the muddy fields! But tonight...things were looking good and we made it out to practice just in time! PaPa came to check it out too! Kaci had fun watching and playing her DS and hula hooping!

Bailey is supposed to have a game this Saturday at 9 a.m., but the weather forecast is not looking too good! We will keep you posted on that one so STAY TUNED.....

"You can't change yesterday, but you can ruin today worryiing about tomorrow."

Kaci and Romy had tons of fun with dress up!

Look at those cute girls!

Angel and Minnie Mouse!

Bailey sleeping in the cool HEBuddy head and wristband that Jessica brought him~

We had a great weekend! So much fun! Our good friend, Romy will be turning 5 on Monday - so we had her and her family over on Saturday to watch the UT game, eat fajitas, play and celebrate her BIG day! The kids had such a good time; coloring, playing with Barbies, getting a game of baseball in with Clint and even playing dress up. I got some cute pics of Kaci and Romy in a few of their outfits. So sweet! Reese and Bailey had lots of fun together as well. I wish I had a picture of the 2 of them together, but I don't. When it was time for the Walkers to head home...Kaci and Romy both shed some tears....but we plan to get together soon and maybe even have a sleepover with Kaci's birthday getting closer and closer.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day. We started it off by trying out a new church and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. Bailey said it was "so much fun!" and he can't wait to go back next week. I was thrilled! We came home...rested, played on the computer, and Kaci and I made a trip to JoAnn's craft store. When we got home it was dinner time...look how cute these letter french fries were. Found them at Target a few weeks ago...they are gluten-free and really delicious! The kids loved that I had spelled out their names too! So cute! After dinner I watched Clint and the kids play a quick game of baseball in the backyard! Kaci and Bailey won!! After the boys went in- Kaci and I watered the plants and then gave Chelsea a quick bath...followed shortly by hers and Baileys. Everyone is sleeping peacefully now and we are ready to face the new week. Can't wait until next weekend. Both Uncle Chad and Brad will be in town and we hope to meet up with each of them at some point . To everyone...have a great weeek.

Oh...one more thing....we got this great catalogue in the mail today and as Kaci was flipping through it she said, "Hey Mommy! This is what you always tell me!" Then she proceeded to read the quote. It said, " You can't change yesterday but you can ruin today worrying about tomorrow!" I have never said it quite that well or in those words...but it brought tears to my eyes when she read it to me. I always tell her (more now than ever) that her and I both have to learn to live in the moment. To not worry about what might happen later or tomorrow...but to enjoy the NOW! It is nice to know she has been listening :)

"You make every day special just by being you!"

Two of the cutest kids I have ever seen!
Bright and early before school and totally PRECIOUS!!

"Brother and sister,
together as friends,
ready to face
whatever life sends.
Joy and laughter
or tears and strife,
holding hands tightly
as we dance through life."

"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter and sharing of pleasure."

Colton on the field!
Brother Bear, Bailey
Peek a Boo, Kaci!

Tonight Clint had to work late- so we decided to kill some time this evening by eating dinner at Taco Bell and heading out to flag football practice with Colton, Mark and Amber. There is a great playscape right next to the practice fields where the kids got to play. The weather was perfect! Maybe we can try it again next Monday!

"Cousin to cousin we'll always be, Special friends from the same family tree."

Bailey, Kaci and Pierson!

This past weekend Aunt Ginny came down to visit and she brought her grandson, Pierson with her. The kids had tons of fun playing together. Here are a few cute pics!
Wish I would have taken more.

"The eyes of Texas are upon you...."

PaPa always makes good of his word and he promised both Bailey and Kaci a ticket the the UT football game! Luckily...they both got to go to evening games so that it wasn't so hot! Here are a few pics of each of them at the game (well, Bailey's will be added just as soon as Amber emails them to me).....
The Longhorns came out ahead both games!

HOOK 'EM!!

Do not be anxious....

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

"Trick or Treat....Smell My Feet!"

Not the camera ...MOM!!!
Bailey dancing with the Unicef package.

So excited!!!
Handsome boy!

Well...it is that time of year again! After a quick trip to the mailbox after school- the kids were delighted to find their TRICK OR TREAT for UNICEF boxes had arrived!

UNICEF was started over 58 years ago and in that time boys and girls have collected over $140 million to help change children's lives. Last year alone, over $4 million was collected. UNICEF has a simple goal- "They will do whatever it takes to reduce the number of childhood deaths." Only UNICEF has the global experience, resources and reach to give children the best hope for survival.

We think it will be difficult to ask as neighbors as we walk door to door - So, we are asking our family and friends this way. We hope that by the end of October that we can send in a $40 donation to UNICEF! Kaci and Bailey have set a goal of $20 each! (This is double their goal of $10 each last year) So, next time you see us....let us know if you have some change to spare that we can add to our Trick or Treat for UNICEF bucket. We sure would appreciate it!

Here are a few interesting facts:
6 cents provides water for 1 thirsty kid
$2 provides nutrition for 1 hungry kid
$44 provides school supplies to 20 kids
$112 provides emergency blankets to 37 kids
$200 immunizes 550 kids against measles
Help us help UNICEF!

Sometimes you are so far behind that you are last, but you think you are first!

I think she may even look better than I did.

Look....it is Clint and I a few years back!

Then they decided to play Cinderella.....and I think the slipper fit!

Well...I have been very bad about my posts lately...haven't I?
We have been busy being; happy, sad, mad, giggly, tired, awake and every emotion in between - but life marches on and so do we. I have not been as good about taking pictures in the past few weeks as I normally am- so, what you see is what you get! GOOD TIMES!
