Kaci was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on July 28, 2009 when she was just 7 years old. While it was devastating at the time-we were determined it would not change who she was or keep her down in any way!
Each year we participate in the JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes in October. In the past 6 years Kaci has raised over $15,000 for JDRF!
While we certainly accept generous check and cash donations made out to JDRF- we also work hard as a family with our Mixed Bag Fundraiser,( going on now- ends March 2nd), team tshirt sales ( in September) and World's Finest Chocolate bar sales-
