It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was- Anne Sexton

Look...no hands!

#1 Fans of Dad and their Classic Daddy!

We had a great Father's Day weekend. As a treat to Clint- the kids decided to wash his truck and prius ! :) I think they just wanted to get wet...ha! They had so much fun.
We celebrated later that night with PaPa and Mark and the rest of the gang at Catfish Parlour...gotta' love that rootbeer. We are very fortunate to have such great dad's in our lives!

Fathers are wonderful people,
too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
as often as we should,
For Father struggles daily
to live up to his image
As protector and provider
and hero of the scrimmage,
And perhaps that is the reason
we sometimes get the notion
That fathers are not subject
to the thing we call emotion.
But if you look inside Dad's heart,
where no one else can see,
You'll find he's sentimental
and soft as he can be.
Fathers are just wonderful
in a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
and accolades of praise,
For the only reason Dad
aspires to fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
and bring them happiness,
And like our heavenly Father,
he's a guardian and a guide,
Someone we can count on
to be always on our side.
