It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas!

We have been very busy today!
Yesterday was my last day at Preschool! We had a wonderful Christmas Program and a delicious lunch afterwards in the Parish Hall. Parents, grandparent, aunts and uncles all joined in. It was so much fun. A ham sandwich, Doritos and cupcakes never tasted so good! I loved listening to the little voices singing Christmas carols and getting to meet all of the extended family of the children.
I am truly blessed to work at such a great place!

Thursday will be Kaci and Bailey's last day of school. I offered for them to stay home on the last day- but they didn't want to miss their class parties-I understand....
So, instead ....they stayed home with me today!
We spent most of the day in our pajamas making lots of yummy treats for Clint's co-workers!

This was the first treat we made. So good- I have no idea what it is called- but this is how you make it
2 cups of Cheerios
4 cups of rice chex
1/2 large bag of pretzels
1/2 large bag of M&M's
1 container of dry roasted peanuts
Mic all together and pour 1 pound of melted white chocolate on top and stir.
Spread on a cookie sheet and let dry.
Then, simply break into bite size (or bigger) pieces! YUMMY!
This was our second treat. You are supposed to use the cute square pretzels, but they were sold out at 2 HEB's - so we just used the regular old twists!

Place a Hershey kiss on top of each chocolate.
Place in oven for 5 minutes at 200 degrees.
Pull out of the oven and gently place an M&M in the middle of each kiss!
Let cool!
Our third treat was easy- Just good old chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles and M&M coating!
Super Delicious!
We individually wrapped 120 bags of these yummy treats!
Then inside larger bags we placed one of each of the homemade treats, a full  size candy bar, peanut butter pretzels and some store bought trail mix. Over all we made 40 large bags. It was a family affair. The kids both said they wished they worked at Daddy's office! LOL! I hope that everyone at the office enjoys their treats and knows they were made with much love!
