Enjoying snack at the end of the meeting!
My beautiful Princess!Kaci has been battling a nasty case of the * flu *all week. She started on Saturday with high fever and it lasted all the way through Wednesday (when, THANKFULLY, her fever finally broke for good)!We took Thursday off from school as well....just to make sure her body was all recovered and to cover the proper "no fever within 24 hours of returning to school" rule!
Fortunately- this all happened just in time for us to make our first meeting with the Brownie troop Thursday night as well. Kaci's good friend, Jamie(and her wonderful mom), invited us to visit the troop meeting just to give it a try. Kaci had lots of fun. All of the girls in the troop are in first grade and attend Kaci's school! What could be better? They had lots of fun making a craft, having snack and even earning a 'Try It' badge! Way to go!!
Kaci really had a good time and is going to give it some thought over the next few days to see if she thinks this Brownie Troop is something she wants to commit to! If so....GREAT! We will be thrilled and will jump right on board and hop on the cookie sales! If not....GREAT! We will wait for the next opportunity to arise where we can try something new again!
**She also shared her flu bug with her brother who was sick Sunday
through Wednesday and who is now feeling much better as well!**
