Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today Bailey's class had a Harvest Exploration! Parents sent in various types of pumpkins and squash for the kids to cut open and observe. We learned a lot...which had the most seeds, how they all smelled and felt as well as what colors the insides were.
Here are the kids touching some of the gooey seeds!

Bailey had a great time. Here he is with an answer to one of Mrs. Farque's questions!

The children LOVED seeing a pumpkin cut this way...almost like an apple- but BIGGER!
Mrs. Farque was trying to hold down the noise!

Bailey and Kamri being silly and trying to stay warm. It was a little windy this morning and it was cool in the shade outside!
